Eden Stollman
Lead Guitar / Keyboards
Born and raised in Motown, Eden has been playing guitar and singing in bands since age 16. He cut his musical teeth in grade school on the clarinet, but ultimately found influences such as Tony Iommi, Alex Lifeson, Dick Wagner, and Glen Buxton more suitably inspiring than Benny Goodman. As a result, the balance of his teens were spent logging his share of “garage time” with various local bands. Soon after, Eden was a working musician, “fronting”, and playing lead guitar for some of Detroit’s biggest drawing club acts.
In addition to extensive live experience, Eden has spent countless hours honing his guitar/vocal/production skills in prominent Detroit studios, including Pearl Sound, Ambiance, Sound Suite, White Room, and Oracle.
Among Eden’s musical experiences in Detroit was playing lead guitar for Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. Eden spent five months rehearsing and developing material with the band for the album “The Fire Inside”. Eden left the band when plans for a tour to support the album were cancelled.
Soon after, Eden was touring extensively with SBK artist “The Greg Stryker Band”, playing lead guitar, singing back-up, and serving as Music Director.
Feeling stifled by his lack of national exposure in Detroit, Eden decided to follow many a musician and made the big move out to Los Angeles. Soon after arriving Eden was regularly performing at The Roxy, The Whiskey, Club Lingerie, and other Hollywood haunts with an all original band called “Swamp”. After this Eden took a decisive break from performing and concentrated on music production techniques. Itching to get out and play again, Eden was introduced to former Vixen guitarist Jan Kuehnemund. They began writing with Tom Moglovkin and Marc Dilorenzo and formed “Population 361” which Eden fronted and shared guitar duties with Jan.
While living in southern California, Eden opened Core Audio recording studio in Hermosa Beach California. The studio featured Pro Tools and Eden recorded Population 361 as well as many other projects.
In 2001 Vixen reunited and was asked to participate in “The Voices Of Metal Tour”. The tour featured Vince Neil, Ratt, and Slaughter, as well as Vixen. The tour covered much of the U. S. performing in venues as large as 17,000. Eden was asked to perform keyboard & rhythm guitar duties as well as serve as the band’s road manager.
In the spring of 2002, Eden was contacted by Paul Haynes to audition for a multimillion dollar show being developed in Las Vegas known as “SpellBinder”. Eden was originally considered for the Keyboardist/Rhythm Guitarist slot, but after hearing him play just one song on the guitar, Paul was certain he had found his lead guitarist. Soon after, Eden packed up his studio and moved to Las Vegas and started to rehearse and record what would become the first album from SpellBinder. In SpellBinder Eden performed as music director, lead guitarist, vocalist, studio engineer, and co-producer.
